Interstate Relocation Services, Inc., which specializes in comprehensive relocation management solutions for corporate and government clients, is looking to change that statistic by adding new talent to its ranks. The organization recently announced the appointment of Susan Gilman as Director of Relocation Services. Susan has more than 25 years of experience in corporate human resources, policy development and management, real estate, global relocation expense management, and compliance.

Susan has handled more than 10,000 domestic and international relocations in her career to date,” says Arthur E. (Bud) Morrissette IV, Interstate’s president. “Her expertise will help our clients increase relocation acceptance and retention rates. As a result, our clients will be able to place talent wherever it’s needed.”

Prior to Interstate, Susan worked for one of the largest providers of real estate and banking services to the U.S. military. Also, in addition to holding director and management level positions at companies specializing in relocation, she also designed and implemented relocation strategies and solutions for athletic and technology companies.

Susan has held the Certified Relocation Professional (CRP) designation from the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council for 16 years. She is also a member of the Relocation Directors Council and has her Virginia Real Estate license.
